]]> Recently I drew a cat and dog head for a T-shirt design for the Bali Pet Crusaders. My Mum is living on the island at the moment and got to know them because they have a veterinary clinic quite close to her house. She was amazed at the awesome and really important work that they do to help the dogs on the island. The Bali Pet Crusaders are an Australian registered charity created by passionate animal lovers and people who are strongly affected by the stray dog and cat population in Bali. They believe that with their Sterilisation Project they can truly make a difference to the animal welfare on the island with the help of the local and international communities.

Seeing as I only needed to send them a digital copy of the drawings to use on the shirts I still have the originals with me so I thought it would be a great idea to auction them off and try to raise some money for this amazing cause. So if you love animals and you love Bali please make a bid for one or both of these drawings and I will give all the profits to Bali Pet Crusaders. The bidding will start on the 3rd of March, 2016 and finish on the 31st of March, 2016. All you have to do is let me know how much you bid and I will keep track of what it’s up to.  I will announce the winners on the 1st of April, 2016. Please share this post with as many animal and Bali lovers as you know.

The Esther Foundation facilitates an extensive and award winning residential young women’s health, development and leadership program through ten residential premises based around South Perth, housing more than forty-five women and their children.

The program is full-time and offers intensive support and assistance to young women in a safe and structured environment.

The broadly structured program facilitates specific group and individual counselling for the following issues and concerns faced by young women:

  • substance abuse
  • sexual and emotional abuse
  • domestic violence
  • mental health
  • teenage pregnancy
  • self harming
  • eating disorders
  • family breakdown
  • depression
