So many trees!

Wow! It’s been a bit of a whirlwind for the last couple of months so I haven’t had much time to post what I’ve been up to.

The main thing I’ve been doing was getting ready to exhibit in two places at once (because I like to make life hard for myself apparently). One exhibition is at Swings and Roundabouts down south in Injidup and the other is at Wild Fig Cafe in Scarborough. I’ve painted three new tree paintings for the two places and I’ve finally just found the time to make two of them limited edition print ready. So all three originals are up for sale now and limited edition prints of “Solar Flare Canopy” and “Australian Tree Sunrise”.

If you’re down south it’s definitely worth stopping at Swings and Roundabouts for a wine and some lunch and if you can’t make it down that way Wild Fig has a beautiful view of the beach and some delicious things on the menu too.

If you’re interested in purchasing any of my new works I’ve just added them to my online shop or you can talk to the manager at either of the places they’re being exhibited in.

Personalised Goddess Portraits

I had an amazing idea! I thought, I do commissioned portraits and I paint goddesses…what if I combined the two so that I could goddessify your portraits?!!!!

You’d just have to send me a photo of yourself or someone else who you think would be an amazing goddess and then we could talk about favourite colours or textures or themes that you’d like to include in your goddess portrait! Amazing right!!!

I’ve got a million goddessing ideas for your portrait that I think would look beautiful so if you’re not really sure what you’d want I can show you a few different things that I think would work really well. Just a thought…Let me know if you’re interested.

New original drawings and limited edition prints

I’m really proud to show everyone my latest available original drawings and limited edition prints. These drawings are all from my latest series, “Floating Heads”. They’re quirky, graphite pencil drawings of some of my favourite weird looking animals. Click the links below to view these hilarious little guys as original art works or as prints in the shop.

I’ve had so much fun drawing these crazy little heads. I haven’t drawn so much in a long time as I’ve been concentrating a lot more on my painting skills, which has been great because I love working with colours but drawing is my first love and I’d forgotten how much I really enjoy it. It comes really naturally to me so it’s quite a relaxing, almost meditative process for me. Hours can go by in what feels like minutes. These are only the A4 “Floating Heads” that I’ve finished. I have a lot more A3 ones which I’m still in the process of making available for prints so get ready to see a lot more hilarious faces looking back at you.

I charge $100/person or animal in an A4 drawing. $50 extra for A3.

I’m really proud to show you all my latest available print. I’m so happy with how she turned out and had so much fun playing with all the different mediums from graphite for complex detail to acrylic paint for vibrant colours and the use of feathers to print her crown, which I think gave her a really unique style and a natural aspect to the painting. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. The original got a lot of love and flew out the door as soon as I posted her on my Facebook Page but there are still some limited edition prints available from the shop.

New Original Artwork Shop Set Up
