Hey everyone, I’ve been scouted by RAW:natural born artists to be a part of the CUSP exhibition! It’s going to be at the Rosemount Hotel on February 2nd. I’ll be showcasing all my “Floating Animal Head” series. It’d be amazing if you came along and supported me and the other Perth artists in the showcase.

There are going to be local visual artists, musicians, jewellery makers, fashion designers, photographers and more. It should be a really fun night. I’m so excited to be a part of it.

Art @ Churchlands

Art @ Churchlands is a community art exhibition which showcases local emerging, professional and student’s art work including painting, drawing, photography, collage, ceramics, sculpture, glasswork, textiles and jewellery. It’s held at Churchlands Senior High School every year. This year I’m lucky enough to have THREE! of my pieces excepted into it.

The art exhibition opening night will be on Friday 27th May, 2016 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Visual Arts Centre of Memory Lane, Churchlands Senior High School. There will be finger food and non-alcoholic drinks. Wine and beer will be available for sale at a reasonable price and entertainment will be provided by the students from the renowned music program. It should be a really fun evening with a lot of really beautiful art work from heaps of amazing artists in the community.

If you can’t make it to the opening night but would still really like to see all the beautiful pieces of work chosen, the gallery space will be open for viewing on Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th from 10am to 4pm.

A Dot On The Run Exhibition

I’m so happy to be a part of “A Dot On The Run Exhibition” at the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery again this year and I actually got to go and visit it this year because I happened to be in Karratha. It’s a beautiful gallery run by really lovely people. If you happen to be around Port Hedland you should definitely go and check it out.

I was absolutely blown away by the talent this year. They told me there was some tough competition and they weren’t kidding. Western Australia has some amazing artists.

Showcase Exhibition

I’m really excited about my work being in this really important fundraising exhibition with a few other great artists. The money raised by the Showcase exhibition will go towards the GAP program which help teens coming from tough backgrounds who are struggling to fit into the school system.

I hope you can come along to the opening masked event or even just pop in through the week. Our works will be showing until the 30th November.

“Colosoul Group Inc, in association with Showcase Events, presents – A Masked Fundraiser
As part of the 2015 Colosoul social calendar, Colosoul are hosting a SHOWCASE event. The event will be A Masked Fundraiser, set to take place in Perth’s CBD. It will be accommodated by both our creative Colosoul Basement headquarters and the newly refurbished WA Museum space, located at 115-117 Barrack Street.

Colosoul has been in operation as a NFP media and arts organisation since 2005. Outside of our publishing, recording, designing and humanitarian endeavours, Colosoul operate two mentorship programs.

This event will support and publicise Colosoul’s GAPProgram (Got Absolute Potential). The program has been developed specifically for 13-17 years olds who don’t necessarily fit into the normal schooling system. Due to their circumstances, these youths may consequently find it difficult to obtain employment later in life. To counteract this, GAP looks to develop their skills and build their confidence, whilst additionally giving them the ability to obtain relevant certification through our online education system ACAS.

The two hosting venues are just a floor apart from each other. The Colosoul team will be utilising both levels to create a dynamic two-storey experience. Guests will be invited to move through the venues and discover featured entertainment through the inner-workings of the Colosoul world.

Whilst introducing the new WA Museum space, we will also be presenting our creative workspace, art gallery, pop-up shops, recording area and photo studio.

The Masked Fundraiser will seek to raise awareness and funds for our GAP Program,whilst also showcasing the Colosoul Group and its diverse organisations and teams.

Correspondingly, this event will also promote and support Colosoul’s endeavours to find a new building for it’s volunteers and members. Sadly, Colosoul’s current space is due to be redeveloped in July 2016 and we are on the look out for new headquarters.

Please remember this is a charitable event.Colosoul are about community and connecting with youths. Philanthropic to the core, we spend much of our energy supporting others who cannot speak up for themselves. Our SHOWCASE events bring funds, awareness, education and understanding to the local community, and these organised proceedings are vital to Colosoul and its incentives.

Charity Auction Exhibition

The Esther Foundation facilitates an extensive and award winning residential young women’s health, development and leadership program through ten residential premises based around South Perth, housing more than forty-five women and their children.

The program is full-time and offers intensive support and assistance to young women in a safe and structured environment.

The broadly structured program facilitates specific group and individual counselling for the following issues and concerns faced by young women:

Stirling Art Award

Hey everyone,

just letting you know that I’ve been lucky enough to be accepted into the Stirling Art Award Exhibition. My piece will be showing there along with some other great artists work from this Saturday the 10th October until Thursday the 15th October. Hope you can find a little time to come down and see some beautiful local artist’s work. It’s being held at the Karrinyup Community Centre, Davenport Street, Karrinyup.

Exhibition at Marie Antoinette Cafe Glacier

Come down to Cottesloe for a viewing of my work next Friday the 7th August and a free tasting of Marie Antoinette Cafe Glacier’s beautiful homemade ice cream. They’ve been kind enough to open late for me for an hour from 6pm. Can’t wait to get stuck into that ice cream. The address is 38 Napoleon Street, Cottesloe Village. A lot of my originals will be there plus a few small pre-framed limited edition prints that would be perfect for presents. My work will be displayed there until the end of August.

Hi everyone, I have a bunch of art up at The Little Pantry, 206 Nicholson Road, Subiaco. It’s a beautiful little cafe run by really lovely people who make GREAT coffee so take a little coffee break and check out my work. It’s mainly my graphite drawings that weren’t in The Basement Gallery show and a few paintings down in the cosy little sitting room area. Hope to bump into you there.
